A variation of the classic Indian blend for general purpose cooking, either used as the base for a marinade or mixed into sauces for meat, vegetables & salads.
Cumin seeds, coriander seeds, black peppercorns, cloves, mace, cardamom seeds, cinnamon, bay leaves.
Heavier roasting of spices is traditional in Sri Lanka and this mix delivers a deep toasty flavour suitable for many meats, vegetables, poultry, grains or pulses. For a change, try with scrambled egg.
Coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, white peppercorns, fenugreek seeds, cinnamon, cardamom seeds, cloves.
A combination of lemon grass and chilli provides the base to this mix and works wonderfully with meat, poultry, fish or vegetables. Spice up salads and stir-fry dishes.
